Dear Ken!

A few weeks ago a friend of mine let me borrow 'Lie Down with Lions', my first Ken Follett novel. When I finished reading it I went out and bought it so I can read it again and again. Since I was 'introduced' to Ken Follett I bought up all the books available at the local book store and have been reading your books every day. I really enjoy your novels, the stories, the amazing and colorful characters and of course the ending. Like most people, I love a happy ending too.

I am about to get started on 'The Pillars of the Earth' and I know I am not going to be disappointed. I am Hungarian living in the USA, and I haven't been able to find your books published in Hungarian so my mom could read it too. I know she would enjoy it as much as I do.

I recently discovered your books whilst on holiday. I read 'Jackdaws' and became hooked. I have since read 'Night Over Water' and 'A Dangerous Fortune' and am currently in the middle of 'Hornet Flight'. I look forward to reading more, so keep up the good work.

Dear Ken,

My wife introduced me to your writing several years ago with 'Pillars Of The Earth' and since then I have avidly collected and read all your other novels with great pleasure. You are the only author I wait for to release your next masterpiece.

I bought 'Whiteout' this morning and having ignored my long-suffering spouse all day, have just finished it. Pleased to see that it is up to your usual standard. Thoroughly engaging, entertaining and with your classic buildup to the thrilling finale, although I nearly wept at the thought of an F50 being crashed to destruction.

I find you so easy to read, every time I pick up one of your novels, I'm lost to the world until I've finished it and for that I truly am grateful. There are few others who can tell a story as well researched and with such a diversity of subject matter as you have covered, long may you love to write as much as we, Joe Public, love to read.

Dear Mr Follet

I read 'A Dangerous Fortune' at a time when I lived in the south of Spain. I had to take the bus to work sometimes, a 40 minutes ride. One day I was so immersed in the plot that I almost missed my stop. I managed somehow, but found out later that the book was missing! I had left it at the bus! ...and Micky was running out of the club chasing after Solly... I had to look for a new book and wait more than three weeks to know what happened to him.

I read it twice then, because I ran through it impatiently the first time. The second time I enjoyed it more slowly. I'm reading it again now. You can do that with a good book.

If I had a top 10 list of books that I love and could read a hundred times (and I have!) the books would start with 'A Dangerous Fortune', 'The Key to Rebecca' and 'The Eye of the Needle'. Don't ever stop writing your books! I've read all your books and love them all!
