I have just completed 'Whiteout' and it is the best book that I have ever read. I normally read three books a week and have read all the best sellers and never have been so impressed. The only problem being the lack of sleep since I read until 3am to finish it last night!

You know from my stand point after reading a few of your books, and 'Eye of the Needle', 'Jackdaws', (suspenseful) 'Hornet Flight', (awesome) 'Code to Zero' (just finished it). Dear Ken
Yes, 'Pillars of the Earth' is the greatest book I have ever read. I have shared this book with all my friends. It is the book that I give to people who don't like to read. After reading 'Pillars of the Earth' my friends want to read every book Ken Follett has written.

I think 'A Place Called Freedom' is also a book that needs to be shared. To read these books is to live in another lifetime and Ken Follett has a special gift of making that happen.

I enjoyed reading 'Whiteout', but I still can't wait for part two of 'Pillars of the Earth'. It it weren't for this website I would have to call the bookstore every week to see if Ken has a new book out. It is great to see what he is researching and what to look forward to.
