The Pillars of the Earth

In a time of civil war, famine and religious strife, a magnificent cathedral is built in Kingsbridge ... this is a sensuous and enduring love story and an epic that shines with the fierce spirit of a passionate age.

Dear Ken
I just finished your novel 'The Pillars of the Earth' and cannot describe how much I enjoyed it. Thank you for writing such a splendid work. I cannot think of any piece of historical fiction that I have enjoyed more.

Ken,
I have read 10 of your books, and all of them are excellent. I read a lot of foreign literature, but you are by far the best author. Please keep writing more and more books, because I will read them all.

Dear Mr. Follett,
I just wanted to write to say how much I have enjoyed reading your books.
I was pleased to learn that you are planning a sequel to ´Pillars`; which is, by far, my favourite book. I love explaining the plot to people and seeing their disbelieving faces, (especially since my clique of friends are all ex-squaddies and reading to them involves the Sun newspaper.)
All the best for the future and, if you're in Germany any time, pop round for a cup of tea!

Hello Ken,
this is Isabel from São Paulo, Brazil. The first book I read written by you was 'The Third Twin'. It was so exciting I just had to read more. I can't spend more than 6 months without reading one of your books. I have also read 'Eye of the Needle', 'The Key to Rebecca', 'The Hammer of Eden', 'Jackdaws', 'Hornet Flight' and 'The Power Twins'. Right now I'm reading the second part of 'Pillars of the Earth'. I'm not sure which one is my favourite one. Usually is the one I'm currently reading. But I'm pretty sure 'Hornet Flight' will always have a special place among my books. Still haven't bought 'Whiteout', but I'm pretty anxious to read it!

Oh, and you have an amazing site. It's clean, easy to find exactly what you're looking for.
Congratulations and keep writing!

Dear Ken
I have just finished reading 'Whiteout', and although it is a bit different from other books like "Hornet Flight" I really enjoyed it. All your books have 'something' special that makes them very interesting for me. Certainly, I am waiting for the sequel to the 'Pillars of the Earth'... I am sure it will be, at least, as good as any of your books.
Thanks for all the good times I have spent reading your books!

Dear Ken
I just recently read 'The Pillars of the Earth' because a friend recommended I read it. For me it is one of your best books. Thanks for bucking the trend to write a truly wonderful book, it certainly has become one of my favourite books.
