Hello Ken,
I was a librarian for 20 years in South Africa, and one day I just picked up this book that a reader brought back 'Lie Down with Lions' -- I was hooked! Since then I have read all your books. Currently I'm an English teacher in Korea, and we have to go to Seoul to second-hand bookstores to get English books. I saw 'Pillars of the Earth' there the other day, and although I've read it long ago in South Africa, I bought it. We had a public holiday today, and I just spent 14 hours reading it again! How lovely! I can't wait for the follow up. Thank you so much for the wonderful hours of reading pleasure.

You have an ardent fan in me here in India. I've read six out of your many novels, and presently I'm reading 'Pillars' after reading all those rave reviews about the book. The book which made me your devotee was undoubtedly 'A Dangerous Fortune'. I was totally mesmerised by the storyline and its captivating characters -- especially the formidable Augusta. I must mention here that all your lady characters are quite strong,and many a time they take over the male characters as well!

Nevertheless,your novels have never disappointed me, they never will. And what I love the most is your language -- your selection of words and expressions is beyond compare. Keep on entertaining us with your unparalleled story telling skills.

I have read most of your novels and enjoyed them. I liked 'A Place Called Freedom' the best. I most recently read 'A Night over Water' ... delightful. The characters are so alive. The ridiculous class system in England too comes across so strongly. Even now the House of Lords exists -- unthinkable in many countries. Hope you continue your good work, sir.
