How do you come up with these plots? I just finished 'Pillars of the Earth' (took me quite a while!), and was really amazed at your storytelling. You must do a lot of research into the Middle Ages. Well, anyhow...can't wait for the October 2007 release of your new book.

I read 'Pillars of the Earth' in 1990. In my list of books read I noted "Best book I've read all year!" While working in a book store from 1994 to 2006 (after retiring from teaching) there were many times, when discussing your books with customers, that 'Pillars of the Earth' was praised as your best. When I discovered a month ago that a sequel was coming out in October, I read 'Pillars' again. I could still remember some of the characters, but I could not remember the plot twists, so it was as exciting an experience as the first time! The deftness and intricacies of your plotting are superb! I look forward with great anticipation to reading 'World Without End!'

I plan on taking 3 days off work on Oct 9th. I've been waiting for this release for years. 'Pillars' is the only book I have read 3 times. I hope you are in the area promoting the book, I would love to see you in person. I have read all your books.

I am just now re-discovering reading.... at the age of 38 and am completely seized by 'Jackdaws.' I look forward to your other works and wanted to commend your effort. As I read 'Jackdaws', I thought immediately that it would make a stunning movie. I was then thrilled to find out that many of your works have already been depicted in film. I look forward to seeing all of them. Thank you for what you do.
