I just finished 'World without End' this morning and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Although it was set much later in time, it was almost as though I were coming home. I have read the 'The Pillars of the Earth' so many times, and I actually re-read it before 'World without End' came out so I could get into the mode.
Again, thank you for such a wonderful book.

I am a trucker, who was looking to pass a lot of spare time. I was hurrying through Wal-Mart on a Saturday afternoon, and grabbed the thickest book I could find (that wasn't a self help book.) I couldn't have been more astonished to find a piece of literature that was not only absolutely enthralling to read, but packed full of history.
Perhaps 970 pages seems like too much, but for me, the thirty some odd years in the book passed in less than three days. The novel is in stark contrast to my life, which is full of steel, concrete, solitude and peaceful repetition. Thank you for the beautiful imagery.

I just turned the last page of 'World Without End'. Thank you for this masterpiece. However, I just realized that tomorrow evening I will have nothing to read and this depresses me.

Thank you. 'World Without End' was a very satisfying follow-up to 'Pillars'. Your character creation and era credibility made for an enjoyable escape. I was sad to have finished it because I wanted to continue peeking into the ongoing saga.

For the last 3 weeks I have been immersed in Kingsbridge life and its marvelous characters. This is what the reading experience should be! I loved 'The Pillars of the Earth' and never dreamed you could equal it. You have; congratulations on another book that will be among my favorites. (I also love your spy thrillers.)

I just finished reading 'World Without End'. I must say, 'Pillars of The Earth' kept my attention better than any book I had read previously. 'World Without End' was by far superior and amazingly enlightening. Thank you for your work, and now the true reason for the message. Please, and I know you have probably heard this numerous times, contemplate writing a sequel (and hopefully without as long of a waiting).
Congratulations,
Brendan

I have just finished reading 'World Without End' – my only criticism is that it is not long enough ! I wanted it to go on and on and on...:)
Thank you so much.

I am new to your books, I have recently just finished 'Whiteout' and I am thoroughly impressed, I was unable to put the book down. I have to admit that it has become one of my favorites. I was curious if there were any of your novels that you favor over the rest.

Just got my 3rd copy of 'The Pillars of the Earth' (The 1st two were borrowed & never returned!). Can't wait to read it again – to the extent I can't be bothered doing 'Christmas visiting', but my girlfriend will kill me if I do that!! Actually just finished re-reading 'Hornet Flight' & 'Whiteout' (back to back), didn't expect this from 'Santa' so I'm having a very 'Folletty' December!!
Thanks for doing what you do!
All the best

I have read almost all your books, particularly the recent ones. 'The Pillars of the Earth' was your best, in my estimation, and I was surprised to see it revived by Oprah as it seems I read it almost 20 years ago. I received 'World without End' for Christmas and am looking forward to reading it. You are a very talented writer. God has given you a precious gift.

I finished 'World Without End' recently and was absolutely blown away. It only took me a week and I was working full-time! I just could not stand to leave that world you created. I know I haven't read everything out there but I am convinced that Caris is the greatest heroine ever to grace the pages of literature. Thanks for such a beautiful encore to what I had previously believed was the best writing got.
