In a time of civil war, famine and religious strife, a magnificent cathedral is built in Kingsbridge ... this is a sensuous and enduring love story and an epic that shines with the fierce spirit of a passionate age.

Hello,
Just wanted to tell you that I am loving the 'The Pillars of the Earth'. I am an avid reader and have been in a book reading slump since there is nothing good to read, or I've already read it. But, I picked this book up and I can't put it down. I almost feel bad that I never read any of your books before, but... I AM NOW. Love the story and can't wait to read 'World Without End'.
Thanks
Tammy

Hi Ken,
I am not the best reader in the world but your book 'Pillars of the Earth' had me glued to my seat! I have nearly finished 'World without End' and I don't want it to stop. Please write a third!!!! I love the characters, the village and Kingsbridge!
Yours truly

Mr. Follett,
I know you must get hundreds of e-mails every day. I just wanted to tell you that I came home from a ten-day vacation in Mexico with a great tan except for my face, I just couldn't put your 'Pillars of The Earth' down. My vocation doesn't give me a lot of time to read fiction during the year, except for my vacation time. However after reading your novel I have changed my mind and will pick up 'World Without End' asap.
Thanks again

Mr. Follett,
Since I first read your novel 'Eye of the Needle' I've made it my goal to read all of your novels, as your style is different from most I have ever seen. I'm only a 16-year-old kid from Canada, but I'd like to say, your writing makes a difference and it's one of the things that makes me write, I hope some day I have a website that rivals yours and you write in this very box.
Yours truly

I read 'Pillars' in 1989 because my father told me I had to! I asked him why would I want to read a book about cathedrals. He said, "Just do it!" I did and it has been my favorite book since. I am grateful for Oprah because now I am not alone in my quest to have everyone read it! I was also so thrilled with 'World'. It's time to read them again!

I've just finished reading 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'World Without End' back-to-back. Your work is magnificent. For two weeks I abandoned husband, family, responsibilities, appointments, social interaction, even the sunshine of my Rio. I was there, in Kingsbridge, in a roller-coaster of emotions that you have given us readers. Congratulations on two masterpieces. Selfishly, I ignore the enormous work and solitude that projects of this magnitude require, and dare say, more, Mr. Follett, please, more!!!

I just finished 'The Pillars of the Earth.' Like Oprah, I did not want it to end. What a powerful novel! Plus, it was a great insight on life in the middle ages. As an engineer, I can appreciate the research you did on construction practices. Can't wait to read 'World Without End. Thank you for a very pleasurable read.

I was introduced to your work when I enjoyed the movie 'The Eye of the Needle', when it came out. Since I have enjoyed many of your novels. In 1994 I read 'The Pillars of the Earth', and it has been my favorite book since. 'On the Wing's of Eagles' also great. And I liked 'Paper Money' by the way. Continued success.

Love all your books, especially the medieval ones, have just finished 'Hornet Flight' for the second time. Have had four copies of 'The Pillars of the Earth' but currently don't own one as I have given them away to friends.

Hi Ken
I wrote you about seven years ago asking if there would ever be a sequel to 'Pillars'. You said 'maybe' at that time, and lo and behold, here it is! Another great tome. Hoping someday there will be an illustrated version that shows some of the architecture described in the book. Congrats on another great read!

I've never really enjoyed reading very much... that was until a friend of mine let me read her copy of 'World Without End'. I looked at it and said there's no way I can read all that! I told her it would probably take me the rest of my life to do it, but I'll give it a shot. Well, I haven't been able to put it down. I have enjoyed this book so much and can't wait to read another one of your books.

Ken,
I've been a fan of yours for a long time. I've read about two-thirds of your books and enjoyed everyone of them. 'Pillars' was just such a pleasure to read. I enjoyed it so much that I can't wait to tell all my friends that love to read that they need to get it. Keep up the great work.

I just now finished reading 'The Pillars of the Earth', my first Ken Follett title. I'd heard and read many good things about it so I requested it for Christmas. It is a fascinating, absorbing book and certainly the finest work of fiction I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I have a copy of 'World Without End' waiting for me in the study. If you will excuse me...
