OK... It has been a while. I stand here tapping my toe with my arms folded waiting on your next novel. I travel some for work and reading your books is a great way to deal with the monotony of airports, hotels and dining alone. Thanks for the extra effort you put in to "get it right".

I am reading 'The Pillars of the Earth', and just love it. I read the prologue after starting the book and wanted to tell you that I heard about it by word of mouth, just like you said, and I am so glad I did! What a phenomenon! It is the first one of you books I have read, although I saw 'Eye of the Needle' and liked it very much. I plan to read them all, now.

This is an unabashed fan letter! I just finished listening to 'The Pillars of the Earth', followed by 'World Without End'. I was so afraid there wouldn't be happy endings for my favorite characters that I would stop and put down my MP3 player for weeks at a time during a ‘good’ stopping point. Then I'd start listening again, something horrible would happen, and I'd think, "Oh, crap! He did it again!"
Thanks for the happy endings – finally!

Hi Ken,
My mother bought me 'The Pillars of the Earth' and 'World Without End' for my birthday. Read both books and I dare say they are two of the best books I have ever read. I just started 'Jackdaws' and I am equally impressed. Can not wait to buy the rest of your collection, if it is half as good as the first three I will be very happy.

'The Pillars of the Earth' had been on my shelf for like 9 months before I finally picked it up and finished all 917 pages in only 9 days. I loved it so much, it was the best book I have ever read and I now recommend it to everyone I know. I loved it so much I didn't want to read anything else afterwards, knowing it wouldn't be as good, but I just finished 'World Without End' and found it just as good. I cannot wait for your next novel, but I'm sure I'll read Pillars again before then. You are a truly talented author, a once in a generation.

I just finished reading 'The Pillars of the Earth' and I must say, I could not put it down! I am currently getting my degree in Medieval and Renaissance Studies and I was just amazed to see all that I have been learning come to life so vividly! You truly make the middle ages into something alive and wonderful, and that is no easy feat! Bravo!
