I absolutely loved ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World Without End’. Of course my family didn't eat dinner or have any clean clothes for a month or so, but that's the price u pay, right? I read one heck of a book. Both times. No one could talk to me, cause I wouldn't talk back, I would just wave my hand. Great job, Mr. Follett!!!

I am 15 and never in my life have read better books than yours. I want to thank you sooo much for all of these amazing stories! The happy endings which a lot of good books are missing are the best. I was sooo lucky that my parents own many of your books. I opened the first one of them and could hardly put it down again. Wordsmith is an understatement for your masterpieces!

Some of us are a little slow at finding and reading good books, but I'll have you know that I just finished reading ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ – one of the very best books I've ever read. Thanks so much for an entertaining ride and kindling a keen interest in medieval times. It took a long time to read and many nights will little sleep (reading until 2:00 am) but well worth it. Thanks so much!

About 30 seconds ago I finished "The Pillars of the Earth". I am devastated. I found it without doubt the most enjoyable book I have ever read. It has affected my every action and thought since I read the first chapter. I am off to Winchester and Salisbury in the next few weeks. Thank you very much for the last month it has been fantastic.

I gave my 12 year old grandson the ‘The Pillars of Earth’ to read. I thought it would be a change from the likes of Harry Potter and Avatar. Here is the comment he posted on Facebook:
"The book 'the pillars of the earth' changed my life it was the most influential single book in the history of man I am at a loss for words."
Thought you would like to know that this appealed to a pre-teen.
